GCC level laminar flow cabinet hoods provide a HEPA filtered clean
work area that is ideal for operations requiring a particle-free,
bacteria-free, clean air environment. The clean work area provides
an excellent work space for small laboratory appliances,
microscopes, pipetting, sterile drug preparations,V admixture
preparation, or any application requiring work-in-progress
protection from outside potentially harmful contaminants.
Simply, all of the air inside the confines of the bench flows in a
single direction without backwash, typically an an area of
turbulent airflow created by obstructions, equipment, or movement
within the clean bench enclosure. Proper enclosure design helps
prevent backwash and ensures that the vertical laminar air flow
continues to protect work on the surface of the clean bench.
